Tropically Festive!

Hey Guys!

I have to say, my favorite part of going to the grocery store is flipping through the magazines in the checkout line.  I make sure I choose a checkout line that has Coastal Living Magazine on the shelf, which is my all time favorite magazine! A couple weeks ago when I was flipping through their latest issue, I saw the most adorable Christmas DIY, that was so Fabulously Floridian!  It was such a fun and easy craft project to put me in the Christmas spirit, the Floridian way!

All you need to make your own tropically festive pineapple is:

• One pineapple, preferably one with a longer stem to hang the ornaments
• Mini Ornaments
• Christmas lights (with a battery pack, not shown in the photos because I left batteries at home, lol)
• Spray Paint
• A starfish, because every christmas tree isn't complete without a star on top!

The Coziest Sweater You Will Ever Own!

Hey Everyone,

There really isn't such a thing as "sweater weather" down here in sweaty South Florida, so I don't have a beautiful abundance of fall sweaters for this season!  However, the other day was browsing through H&M and came across the most adorable sweater! I was so impressed that I actually found something at H&M with great quality and it fit perfectly! It's kinda lame, but whenever I go into stores like H&M and Forever 21 I get a tad bit of sensory overload .. haha!



   With racks of clothing around every square inch of those ginormous stores, it could be quite overwhelming and time consuming to shop around.  I usually end up walking out and looking online. The stars must've been aligned for this purchase, it was the first thing I saw when I walked in and I absolutely knew I had to have it. Let me tell you guys, it is the coziest piece I own. I try to find any excuse to wear it, even if I'm just lying around at home! I have received so many compliments on this sweater, one of the best was that it looks like it was made by Gucci!
  The tan color looks so clean with a pair of white jeans, just how I styled it. Not to mention, it keeps me warm in my freezing classes and at work! This sweater was worth the purchase, also its extremely college-girl affordable!

Not Your "Typical" Christmas Party Outfit

I'm breaking the rules with this Christmas outfit. It may not be the "typical" cozy, thick, tartan plaid print that is being sported everywhere this holiday season. I love the classic prints for the Christmas season, but its just so hard to dress that way beaus of how extremely hot is is down here!  I styled this outfit to be ideal for a Christmas in Florida. This outfit is light, classy, and still has that dash of glamour that you would find in any holiday party outfit! The beautiful color of this dress has me dreaming of a snowy, white Christmas I wish to see one day. Almost every piece of this outfit is on sale!

Sophia Webster x Neiman Marcus Event!

Hi Everyone,

I love the holidays, with friends coming into town, family gatherings, and holiday joy makes the season worthwhile! I guess it’s now socially acceptable to be playing Christmas music, or is it too soon?! (Michael Buble is defrosting as we speak, haha). Pretty soon on the blog, I will be sharing my “Christmas Wishlist” as well as a gift guide that will erase all the stress of finding the perfect gifts for everyone on your list!

This Halloween was forgettable, as I really didn't do much.  I was bummed because I had a few great costume ideas, guess I’ll just have to save them for next year! The night of Halloween, I decided that I was going to stay home and catch up on some sleep, get things done around the house, and work on future assignments. 

That morning, I followed by typical “lazy morning” sacred ritual, watching Shark Tank in my Pj’s and indulging in my favorite cereal, Chocolatey Delight! As I was absentmindedly scrolling through Instagram, I saw on Neiman Marcus that designer Sophia Webster was appearing at the store in Bal Harbour! I couldn't let this opportunity slip out of my reach, so I quickly got dressed and was off to Miami.

Sophia's new collection is so vibrantly beautiful, I'm definitely coveting a few items! My favorite, the flamingo fuzzy purse, it just screams my name! The collection was so beautiful, I would be afraid to wear the shoes because they truly look like pieces of art! I was in heaven, champagne, pink lemonade, macarons, and donuts were being served during the event. What more could you ask for?

I was so glad that I saw this so last minute and was able to go. Just being in the center of all these fashion influencers, designers, and stylists was so unbelievably inspiring. I got such a refreshing feeling of being empowered by how unique each and every women is. I felt some sort of indescribable peace being in the mix of it all.  I know that this is what I am meant to do! Call me crazy, being so young and having such ambitious and crazy big dreams for myself. I think that is the key factor of what makes life so uniquely beautiful. You can be anything you want and do anything you want with hard work and dedication!

It's the Remix To Ignition

Hi Everyone!

First, let me start off by saying Happy November!! I'm so excited to share this outfit with you all today, it has been my go to outfit this fall. It’s super comfortable and I feel so chic in it! I always laugh to myself whenever I wear this outfit, thinking half of me feels like I'm stomping the streets of NYC on my way to an executive meeting, while the other half of me feels like I give off a “Monica from Friends” vibe!

You can never go wrong with black and blush, it's such a staple, as is a leopard print! These pants from Club Monaco have to be one of my favorite pieces I own currently.  They are incredibly soft and not to mention the high rise cinch waist makes these pants look flattering on anyone!

This post is pretty special to me considering the fact that my dad helped me out with this one. The weather has been beautiful in sunny South Florida and he offered to help me take pictures for my blog, all while jamming out to a tasteful palette of 70’s music! I know he probably won’t see this post, because he has no form of social media, but I wanted to just share how special my father is to me. He has been so influential in my life and has taught me throughout the years the importance of being independent, working hard, and never giving up on anything you're passionate about.  So thanks for everything you've done for me and my sis dad!! (He also rebuilt this whole car all by himself!)
