Summer Days at the Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard is unlike any place I've ever visited before, the quaint, coastal town felt as summer is supposed to feel. Despite the fact that the weather felt like Florida's winters! Not to mention the beautiful hotel we stayed in. Everything about the Island made me fall in love with New England, the strolls through Edgartown, going down to the beach, lobster rolls, and admiring all of the sights. Already wanting to be back.

Thanks Harbor View Hotel for the wonderful stay!

Newport is Always a Good Idea

Recently, I came back to the sunshine state after visiting New England and what it's summers have to offer.  My family and I set out on a week's adventure visiting Boston, Martha's Vineyard, and
Newport, taking in everything we possibly can in such limited time.

We couldn't have wished for better weather while we were visiting Newport! The blue skies made the town even more picturesque then it already is. We visited two of opulent mansions in Newport; The Marble House and The Breakers, both so exquisite in their own individual way. It was mind-blowing that these luxurious mansions were once homes!

Later that day, we walked down the scenic Cliff Walk, which overlooks the ocean and all of the lovely homes on the water. I wish I had a bit of a disclaimer before I went, we took the pathway to the right, and found that the paved paths end, and we ended up having to walk through miles on a  cliff!  (I was still wearing my dress and wedges because none of us knew that is where it would take us haha!) I strongly recommend dressing accordingly when going there so you wouldn't make my mistake and have to walk barefoot!

My outfit: Ruffle-Neck Vee Dress //  Espadrille Wedges // Anchor Necklace // Tan Crossbody (Similar) //  Tortoise Sunglasses
