It's Prom Dress Shopping Time!

Hey everyone!

If you have been to any major department stores or have shopped online recently, then you can probably guess what time it is: Ahh yes, prom dress shopping time. I don’t know if I'm speaking to any of you when I say this, but I'm kinda terrified about not finding a dress.. haha! Crazy right? But can you blame me? With so many dresses and so many styles, it can be a bit of an overwhelming process for most. Unfortunately, I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather today, so I have been doing my homework on shopping for prom dresses. Depending on your schools qualifications on what you should wear (like mine), hopefully you find one that you will fall in love with. Here are a few that I came across online:

Valentines Day Guide!

Hi Everyone! As you all know, Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Whether you have a Valentine's date or not, make time to really treat yo self and your loved ones! If you have completely no idea how you are going to spend your day, I have a few ideas that will really get you in the spirit!

1.) Host a "Galentine's Day brunch"- Invite a few of your girlfriends over on Sunday and host a brunch; dress it up or simply have everyone over in their pjs's! Everyone can make something of their own to bring over. ( I adore this Brunch DIY from Camille Styles, Check it out here)

2.) Make something sweet: I found this adorable recipe for conversation heart brownies that would be sure to sweeten up anyone's day!

3.) Create a Valentine's Day ballon heart: Wanting to get super crafty this Valentine's? Check out this darling balloon heart display. You shouldn't miss this darling photo opportunity! 

4.) If the weather's nice, go on a bike ride with your special someone and enjoy a picnic outside.

This Weeks Top 10

Hey guys! Another long week of school is gone, which means time for the weeks top 10!

1. This week I signed up to take my first SAT, Im so completely nervous for this test, it's so crazy to imagine that I am at the time in my life where I am finishing up with High school!

2.  I'm obsessing over female empowerment, girls who are continually to change and shape our community as well as our country. I came across an Instagram page (@shecannetwork) that features girl bloggers doing just that!

3.  My birthday month happens to be this month of February and I can't wait to begin to plan my Palm Beach inspired brunch! I have my eyes on these adorable flamingo print Lilly shorts to add on my wish-list!

4. Looking for an easy, go-to after school snack? Check out this peanut butter banana smoothie, one of my all time favorite smoothies! (I like to add a little bit of toasted coconut and flax seed in my smoothies.)

5. Not going to lie, but I've been dreaming of my future beach cottage in Nantucket (a girl can dream, am I right!) I would love to design the house inspired by these photos.

6.  While reading The College Prepster, I stumbled upon these darling sandals that are perfect for the spring time, and well anytime!

7. In the cutest news I've read all week, check out this Orange County Firefighter saving a golden lab's life while rescuing from a freezing pond.

8. Celebrating NYFW, the return of my schools fashion club has emerged! It's such an honor to be given the privilege to be the president of the club where I have the opportunity to lead and connect with such a creative group of high schoolers through the diverse world of fashion. I can't wait to see all that the club will achieve!

9. I have to admit,  I've recently been addicted to reading Cosmopolitans daily snapchat stories.

10. If I had to travel to anywhere on the globe right now, without a doubt, I would book a one- way ticket to Portofino, Italy.

1. Alright, I might be jumping the gun a little bit on this one but if you haven't check out Kate Spade's  Valentine's day collection.. you should get to it, It's totally swoon worthy!

2. Recently last week I found out that for my family trip this summer, we are taking a trip up to New England! I've been dreaming of finally getting to visit there! We will be visiting Boston, Martha's Vineyard, and Rhode Island. Check out this super cute hotel in Edgartown were are visiting!

3. Elections are coming right around the corner (sadly, I will still be 17 in November.) Vineyard Vines made these super cute political party shirts! Which party do you side with?

4. I don't know if your skin is like mine, but for as long as I can remember I get these red bumps and I don't have the most smooth skin; I've heard that Dickenson's witch hazel works miracles.. hope it works!

5. I love love love listing to/ finding new music. Spotify has to be hands down (next to Pinterest, hey go follow me @jillybeaannn13) my favorite and most used apps. I always create a playlist for every month, or at least try too. Im currently obsessing over Vampire Weekend & Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners

6. I'm dying to get over to J.Crew, they have their newest arrivals in stores now. How perfect their new look-book is!

7. I find myself finding any excuse to bake these chocolate chip cookies. Thanks to Pinch of Yum I have found THE BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe, everyone goes crazy for them. I definitelywill be doing a blog post incorporating this recipe soon.

8. For Christmas my sister Jenna received a pair of black Hunter boots. I'm constantly asking for her permission to borrow them. A definite investment is these adorable Military Red pair.

9. New year new resolutions.. right? I've found a bunch of easy recipes for eating clean.. hopefully I can stick to this resolution! (Check out my pointers boards to find the recipes)

10. Last but not least, Netflix finnnnallyyyy added the final season to my favorite show, Parks and Recreation. Can't wait to finish this series, it will be very bitter sweet. I mean after all, isn't Leslie Knope everyone's inspiration?

Hi readers! It is finally starting to feel a lot like the winter time here in Florida. To celebrate the picturesque weather we have been having, me and my friends went out to brunch and explored with what our city has to offer.
